Making the trip worth it
The Broadwater at Labrador is flat, sheltered and completely different in character from inland Gold Coast. There’s a foreshore path to walk, boats to watch and, if you time it right, a sunset over the water.
Most people who come over from your way do one of these:
- Dinner then dessert. Eat somewhere along Marine Parade or at the Aqua Complex, then walk down to us.
- An afternoon out with the kids. The Broadwater parks, the pelican feed at Charis Seafoods at 1.30pm daily, then gelato.
- After the theme parks. If you’ve had a day at Movie World or Wet’n’Wild, we’re a straightforward run east, and considerably calmer than Surfers.
What you’ll find when you get here
Around 16 to 24 flavours, changing regularly, made here in small batches with Maleny Dairies milk and cream.
We serve in mini scoops, which is our whole idea. Three, six or nine smaller scoops instead of one big one, so you can have a different flavour in every scoop. If you’ve driven over, that matters more than it sounds — you get to try the things you were curious about rather than committing to one.
Around eight non-dairy options daily: three vegan gelatos and five sorbets. That’s worth knowing if someone in the car is avoiding dairy, because a lot of places have one token option.
In 2026 we won Champion Flavoured Ice Cream or Gelato of Show at the Royal Queensland Ice Cream, Gelato & Sorbet Awards, for our pear and ginger gelato, plus gold medals for chocolate, French vanilla bean and strawberry.

Shop 14/300 Marine Parade, Labrador. Our door is on the Imperial Avenue side. Free underground parking at the Aqua Complex — you won’t be circling.
